3 years ago I was pretty depressed, well, not depressed perse but dissapointed that this band had no existence on sputnik, i'm pretty glad to see this band growing a fair share of fandom. ANd cant tell if your being sarcastic QW3, this is a pretty raw and undeveloped review.

i actually knew about this band 3 years ago, but i had only heard the song Looking Glass off of WWS. i absolutely LOVED it, but for some reason never checked out the rest of their stuff.

I always listen to this album. I can't get enough of it.

Another band that is kind of similar is I:Scintilla. They're worth checking out - can I suggest you watch their Youtube videos too ;)

Edit: They're listed as "I Scintilla" on this site. Balls apparently doesn't like them, though.

all this TBM is getting me thinking about female voiced electronic; i'm really looking forward to listening to Claire Voyant's new one.

The new Claire Voyant is even poppier than their older stuff, but it's still good (and it came out yesterday - I wanted to review it, but never had time).

It's not just you.

hey qwe there's nothing wrong with obsessing over female vocals...in general they are more pleasant to listen to than male vocals

personally, i only enjoy them in electronic music. there are a few exceptions though.

nothing wrong at all, was just saying that i'd noticed he has a penchant for them

i'm gonna have to disagree about female vocals sounding more pleasant though. in my experience male voices are far nicer. it is completely subjective and dependent on time and place though so yeah

I prefer female vocals on electronic music and mellow music... and the gothic rock stuff works if the music doesn't suck.

yeah i mean with rock music, i definitely prefer male voices...i only like female voices with some serious grit.

when it comes to lighter music though, and especially pop, female voices are simply better. Male-fronted pop acts (i.e. Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5) just don't sound very good.
