They're a above-average Nu-metal but in terms of Alt Rock/Metal, whatever you call this ****, they suck balls.
False. What nu-metal have you heard? These guys are the bottom of the ladder, came-in-at-the-last-possible-moment type of band. Sorry, they have always felt like a cash-in to me. Anything by Nothingface, Static -X's Wisconsin Death Trip, SOAD's self titled album, and the Deadlights S/T are the real cream of the crop in this genre. This Message Edited On 01.14.08

But it is fact that Deftones are the kings of Nu-Metal far above all the above bands.

Deftones own most nu-metal bands in that genre. I knew I was forgetting about someone. Have you ever heard Nothingface? They are my favourite in that genre. They were more of a hybrid between metal and nu-metal sounding.

Deftones are the best thing that ever emerged from nu-metal, especially since they just about ditched nu-metal on white pony (with the exception of back to school, pressured by label to make).
anyways, i really, really, really, really, REALLY disagree with your review. it was short, and frankly, don't give band 5's, then criticize elements. a 5 is supposed to be just about perfect.

Review is better but...
This was before I discovered sputnik so my music tastes were a tad bit immature Now that my music tastes have matured, I can safely rate this a 3.
Just like in your Trivium review your bragging about something that isn't really brag-worthy yet.... That annoyed people on the trivium review and im sure it'll annoy more here...Honestly you sound like an elitist with meh music taste...
