You should probably just start at the beginning of her discog because they're all amazing (well, except Uh Huh Her and the newest one, and even both of those are pretty good).

I didn't downloaded Dry because of the cover tbh lol

Um Dry rules though
It's like Pixies brand indie but girlier

I actually like Dry a bit better than this probably, those two are the two most similar to one another in her discog
Overall this is her most overrated album imo (I know Ars will disagree with that), still damn amazing though

Stories is her most overrated
But I do agree that Dry is better than Rid of Me

Yeah I knew you would think Stories is most overrated.
I prefer the slightly less abrasive sound of Dry to Rid of Me is the main difference, but when I'm in the mood for that Albini sound on RoM it's awesome

Album Rating 4.0 - This review of mine goes against some of the grain. I think "Rid of Me" has some of her best songs of all time. This album is not a classic for me due to Steve "The Butcher" Albinis producton and engineering. I just dont like it. Im sure if you have a top end sound system you can enjoy this album more. Its a shame because in the early 2000s when she played some of these songs on tour, they were vastly superior to the album versions. You really get how these songs should have been. Albini mistakenly underwhelmed PJs vocals on all the tracks in favor of focusing on the guitars and percussion. Even that album before PJ got real vocal training, her voice was very good. Ironically a better version of this album was done by a youtuber who remastered it. I know PJ at the time wanted Albini, and defended her choice in bringing him on, but shes been using Flood ever since. All her albums since have focused on her vocals more instead of drowning them out with the instruments.

Really conflicted about this album. Like I enjoy it-probably a 3.5/4, still haven't decided. The production on here is ott abrasive. Sometimes this works, others it just seems a bit pointless. Which is funny because I'm a massive Nirvana fanboy and Albini's production on In Utero works amazingly. Are her other albums like this?

Most of her albums sound completely different from one-another
The closest to this sound wise is her debut Dry
