one of the greatest rock albums in 2004, no doubt about it! my personal favourite songs are Priceless and Sick Sad Little World. but i feel it misses something...Dirk Lance! Ben Kenney is very good but there's no one like Dirk. he's my favourite bassist and i just love every bassline he made. anyone knows about any new Dirk project?
besides that, it's a great album. 4,5/5
thursdaythrice, buy S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Fungus Amongus (and Enjoy Incbus should you want half of Fungus re-done with Dj Kilmore)

A crow is pretty poor as a whole.

Indivisual tracks are good, but generally I think this is a pretty bland album.
Enjoy Incubus is with DJ Lyfe, not Kilmore :thumb:

I was slightly disappointed by the album. I think Einziger needs to get his awesome effects back. He used them when he played ACLOTM live here in Tokyo, Japan... but not on the album.

I heard he has switched to a Fender Jazzmaster from his PRS of previous albums, which I think has lessened his sound.

He sounds much more glassy and jazzy in ACLOTM where in albums like Morning View or Make Yourself his sound was much warmer, rougher and bluesy with an awesome crunch. I miss his sound from songs like Privilege and 11am.

Incubus got exremely dark with this album, no upbeat funky songs anymore. But still, this album is genius....the guitarwork is fabulous, the basslines are extremly ingenious, the drumming is great, and Bradon's vocals are as awesome as always.

Definitely the least ear-friendly album by Incubus, and that explains why the only song that got massive ariplay is Megalomaniac. One thing is certain though, Incubus have progressed as musicians.

Favorite track: Sick Sad Little World. This Message Edited On 06.19.05

Definately underated by many, this album is clever, and purely underlines incubus' changing style.

I think to compare this album to any of the previous Incubus Cd's if just a mistake considering how different they sound on each 1. So to judge this cd on its own, i think it's another great piece of work from Incubus.

Is it as good as their other stuff? Yes and no.

I am personally a big fan of "SCIENCE" and "Make Yourself" but i think this cd has great potential as well. It's just so different, but that's what i love about Incubus. They constantly change their sound and still manage to make great music.

If you like Inucbus and your openminded like they are then u should deffinitely pick this 1 up.

Back in the days Sputnik was a sub-forum of Musicianforums. There was no means of having multiple versions of reviews under one hood, apart from having them all in the same thread.

So basically, every review with reviews in it were brought over from the old section

I used to be heavily into Incubus. The guitar work on this album is pretty fantastic throughout.

i just do not like this album... maybe i don't really like incubus i don't even really know anymore haha.

i liked songs like Drive, Circle etc and their older stuff.... but i feel this album is quite of a let down. For some reason I am starting not to like his voice on this album altho his voice is pretty unique.

I've listened to this album quite a few times but now i don't even feel like listening to it anymore. This Message Edited On 10.17.06

I noticed that recently as well. I only really listen to a couple of songs (Megalomaniac, Beware! Criminal, Sick sad little world), but not the whole album anymore. Still think it's better than most other stuff out there. Looking forward to the new one
