Ok well that was ok... It didn't blow my mind or leave me wanting to hear it again. Maybe I just need to give it time to set in, but I'm not overly impressed by this so far. Which is really disappointing.

I'd actually agree that this album does not demand you coming back to it (which I was sort of initially expecting), but it does have many traits of being a grower. Since you thought it was ok LG, give it a few more chances... For uncle Davey.

Yes. But it's not the only time. He does tend to over-exaggerate certain words & phrases and I could see how that would annoy the $hit out of some listeners.

To be honest, I quite like it. Although I find once I've heard them, I can't unhear them, if you get what I mean?

I think I'd prefer it to be done a little more naturally. But I think he's just on the right side of the line with the amount of times he does it here.

Tbh, nah, I don't.

Pretty sure he means how I can't hear Anchor/Wings without singing 'here' and 'ocean' in his voice.
