Just listened to chapters. That melody is the shit. I want to hear more stuff like that from them. They could still use a lot... A LOT of work in the creativity department but as long as they start to do less chugga chugga and more leads/melodies I'll find them worth following.
Oh and they're still going way overboard with the breakdowns, the only upside is there's so many of them that some of them are bound to be good.

I mean I don't know why you guys think Mirrors has no melody. Have you even listened to the whole album? Obviously you skipped over Mary, Jnana, December, etc. Because if it was just breakdowns, I wouldn't still be sitting here learning this album on guitar. I'd have already mastered it.

But the band name isn't referring to musical breakdowns, it's referring to a literal mental breakdown of your sanity. So I think quite a few people just assume the album is nothing but breakdowns just based on the band name.
