it's the soundtrack to all of our technology turning on us. it's technological armageddon.

it's like y2k actually happening (er, y2k12) in audio format. and the only way to survive is to dance like a motherfucker.

Deviant.

that's hilarious though

so apparently there are no such things as albums that get worse and worse the more you listen to them

i guess i should just forget all those albums that i've gotten bored with over the years...

To say every album gets better with repeated listens is just wrong. Ever hear of bad replay value?

yes, but you don't dislike those things. you've just simply exhausted them of all their novelty. not the same. boredom =/= disdain

every album will exhaust itself of its novelty at a certain point (which would rebuke any idea of any single album getting "better and better with each listen" as well if we were to adopt that logic for a second).

i don't think you get what you said though, man

you said that EVERY album gets better the more you listen to it

so that also means that there's no such thing as an album just staying in one place in regards to how much you enjoy it. because it can ONLY get better from there, apparently.

Anthracks what the fuck are you even saying now lol.

An album only exhausts itself of its "novelty" if it isnt good.

Thus many albums do not get better with repeated listens at all, and get worse.

The classics stand the test of time because their novelty never wears off.

Its why my dad still jams albums from the 60s on the reg.
