Didnt glass house have a different vocalist? Pretty sure that's why it's completely different

Yes they had the two Shulman brothers singing and then just one.

With Phil Shulman’s departure, the man took his voice and also his woodwind instruments with him, so In a Glass House signalled a turning point musically for the band.

When you have the vinyl version, you can see clearly that it's a pear with a knife into it. The cd shows something else obv.

Edit: This is pretty cool. Different than what I thought it'd sound like.

Finally revisiting this band. It's been too long. These guys rule. I don't know if this is my favorite of theirs, but I really like the discordant, experimental feel of this record. That silly, creeping section of Black Cat is so fun.

My favorite GG album, tied with In a Glass House. Both are a pleasure to listen to from A to Z.

Both albums are musically risky but accessible enough to enjoy. ATT is pretty much experimental and it works very well. And it's well balanced between dreamy atmospheres, more ''heavy'' sequences and of course brillant, complex structures. Gentle Giant in full flavor.
