I love how this album totally defies what people consider to be music and completely disregards any kind of 'convention', CC just don't give a shit. That's why I love this album, best CC album for sure.

A brutal album in all aspects.
Barnes is a huge part of the early Cannibal Corpse sound with his morbid vocals.
The production on this album is okay, but a bassist like Alex Webster should not be buried in the mix. The guitar tone is good. The drums are good, although the cymbals could be better. The production definitely improved on the latter albums.
There are some great riffs on here... Gutted, Rancid Amputation, and Innards Decay.
