That album was a solid 3.5, my man. Machu Picchu, Gratisfaction, Life is Simple in the Moonlight.. come on, man, that album has some great Strokes songs.

Julian never had a great voice, but he calls way to much attention to the negative aspects of it on this. And I don't get the hate for Angles, that's their best album behind ITI and ROF for sure.

I really like his tone, mannerisms on stage, lyrics, everything about him. You can't argue he is not the best possible fit for a band like The Strokes.
