I've always found A7X one of the more likeable 21st century metal bands out there. I even like their self-titled album.

It's an acquired taste of a record in their catalog. I find it enjoyable in small samples.

I definitely like Nightmare more, but this has some nice jams.

I find all of their albums enjoyable to an extent, HTTK much less so but still has some good songs on it. Everything they've made fits around 3-3.5 for me with City Of Evil a possible 4.

Jane Doe is like Converges 3rd or 4th best album, I used to have it at a 3.5 but it's just okay. They have a 4 album as well in You Fail Me and When Forever Comes Crashing is at least a 3.5 if not a 4. To be fair though I've listened to Converge as recently as this month but this album I haven't listened to in a decade. SO maybe this is not as good as I remember, but I remember it being awesome.

Sweet little Jesus from 1:30 onwards Lips of Deceit is so good. Some of their most dynamic writing in this album
