amazing review, you described the atmosphere perfectly. i definitely feel a sense of urgency in their music, all of there songs feel like they are building up to something bad. not all of their songs sound"gloomy" there's strong pop and dance elements in there music. i encourage everyone to look at a lyrics sheet at least once, while listening to there songs to discover the true genius of Ian Curtis. His lyrics are painfully deep and beautiful at the same time.
