it'll fare better than this, but probably not radiohead, just because so many more users have heard AMSP

Thanks you too. It's weird, I never seem to remember Bon Iver when listing my personal favorite bands, but all three records have been classics for me thus far. In terms of average rating, it actually seems I enjoy them more than Brand New, Yellowcard, and the sort.

All their albums are classics for me as well. I think it has something to do with them being distinct album listens. Also, I have a soft spot for his songwriting.

Anyone else think 8 (circle) is possibly the best track here?

Well, I feel like Circle is definitely the centerpiece of the album (like the rest of the record was written around it, perhaps it was the first song completed or something), but not necessarily the best.

Those are some terrible song titles.

Sowing, I think that '8 (Circle)' is the best track here. Followed by '33 "God"' and '666'. It's all fantastic though.

Row is this review suppose to read like a reflection of the album? the ridiculousness and rambling feels uncharacteristic for you and also very self aware of how hectic it is. i'm only asking cuz i havent heard dis yet, but judging by those song names this review prolly parallels the album and I enjoyed reading this lol

Circle is definitely the best track and probably his best ever

SpaceMan that's the idea I wanted it to sound rambly and interrupted so if it reads that'd way I've done my job I guess

nah 3.5 is fine cos this isn't objectively a 5 like Skeleton Tree Boney :D

to be fair although the songwriting is similar sonically this has very little in common with For Emma so you may enjoy more

I'm still not ruling out that this could grow to a 4 or even higher, I sense this could be one that takes a while to sink its hooks in, particularly since much of this isn't a style I can enjoy very easily.

the first half was pretty much immediate for me but the second half has taken its time to grow on me so hopefully it's the same for you
