The way this album took off with positive reviews seriously reminds me of Job For A Cowboy's last album. Shit was miles ahead of their previous albums and came out of nowhere.

That opener stood out to me on first listen, the others might grow on you. Sometimes it can be disappointing when an album doesn't live up to that first track but don't be fooled into thinking there isn't much else here. It has depth in abundance.

Just revisited this today & man this is one consistent album, perfectly balanced & thoroughly enjoyable record. Currently holding my AOTY title I reckon. I might award it a rating bump.
