That would be ideal yea. I don't know how publications like CoS, Pitchfork, NPR, AV Club, Pop Matters, and Stereogum do it because all of them posted their lists days ago.

I’m selfishly glad they released it in December because my personal year has been a shitstorm of death and anxiety, so this was a much needed surprise salve, but I kind of wish they’d released it in, like, late October or early November because now the album is destined to become a forgotten cult favorite. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I guess

My spotify wrapped would contain a lot more of this if this wasn't released so late

My early faves here are The Divine Chord, Interstellar Love, Reflecting Light, We Go On, Music Makes Me High, Gold Sky, Running Red Lights, and Born to Lose. I could listen to those songs on a loop for the rest of my life and die a happy man (edit: but I wouldn't, because they all sound so much better wrapped up in the context and atmosphere of this album).

No love for the t/t?

Probably my favourite here but other tracks that didn't initially hit me are sounding more appealing now, like Overcome, Interstellar Love and Gold Sky

New Kashiwa Daisuke is a far less smooth probably more exciting album-long trip that sits q nicely as a complement to this. what a month

Never listened to these guys before. Is this a good album to start on?

I'd say go in chronological order. It's only 3 albums after all

I started here and I don't regret it. What Choccy said is the smart/normal answer though.

Actually, he died of a broken heart

For an album which mostly uses vocal samples, I'm floored by how consistent it is with the overall concept
