tons of super cool grooves and rhythms here that stick out far more than anything else. ill need a second go to rate but so far its not much more than a 3.5 or 3.6

yeah i got those vibes - in a lot of ways this is torche meets deftones to me, but there's a bunch more soundplay going on. i just wish the album had a bit more songwriting and vocal variety. i might bump this to a 3 - there is some cool stuff going on for sure, i just don't think it all translates.

I have listened to this 3 times in its entirety and each time it’s gotten better. Discovering more and more in every song. They sounded “samey” at first but listening carefully reveals individuation. A lot of sounds packed in these 4 minute bursts. The production is immaculate. I can pin point any moment I want. Bumping this to a 4.5. Oh, and Planetarium is the one.

Dream Machine is growing on me so hard. Liking the latter half of this album more than the first half
"just slow dowwwwwn." kind of agree tbh wish there were more quiet moments like Cloud Inhaler into Planetarium

Second half is definitely a lot stronger. The songs are slowly growing on me. Might end up at 4.0 or 4.5 for me. Agape is my favorite Lantlos tho.
