Is this a different release, cause my copy didn't have "Glamourous Rock & Roll", instead there was a track called "Change Your Mind" which is all right.

love this album... really like the songs here like "jenny was a friend of mine", "all the things i've done", and their famous single(which kinda sucks for me) "mr. brightside" but all in all the album is good. All songs has a catchy tune and good lyrics by the way.

I don't much like this band. back in high school when they were rising to fame I made the comment that they weren't all that great and I was nearly martyred. Now three or so years have passed since then and I still don't like them. Mr. Brightside was fun but it seemed that it's all they had while i heard the rest of their songs they weren't catchy... they were just plain annoying. I heard the new single and thought the same. Oh well.

I really enjoy this album. It turned me on to new wave.

The new single was good, but so were 3/4s of the singles off this, so I'm not sure.
Not a bad album.

Good review, good album, good band.
Best songs: Glamorous Indie Rocknroll, Mr Brightside and All these things that I have done.
Somebody told me is a bit overrated, but still catchy.

Hmmm, apparently I should get this album to see how it is. I liked them quite a bit, but then everyone started listening to them and I pretty much stopped listening to them. Hmm.

I can't decide between this or Sam's Town, though I've only had ST for about 2 days, but albums usually grow on me very easily, so if I like it so much now, I'm probably gonna like it a lot more in the next couple days.

this is infinitely better than Sams Town. My main reason, Listen to "For Reasons Unknown", it's painful.

i like sam's town, but midnight show pretty much kills every other killers song.
that was unintentional.

I should hate this album; it has terrible lyrics, cheesy synths, and no diversity whatsoever.
But, I like it. Aside from the flaws i mentioned, its a really solid album with dumb, but catchy songs.

I download more than half the album (excluding the singles) and my god were all the songs so damn boring. Other than Mr. Brightside I just couldn't get into this band. It was like sleeping pills to me. I guess I just will never like the killers.

I think you either rated the songs to high or the entire album too low. Only one song got 3, one more got 3.5, the rest is 4+.
Don't like Sam's Town that much, the sound isn't the same. It's more of a rock album than this, I miss the synths and the indie sound. This Message Edited On 12.01.06

I really enjoyed Mr Brightside when it was first released. Def a fan back then. And Smile Like You Mean It has a great video clip.
