I really enjoy their last several albums even though they’re different from their classics

I just love the vibes of two longtime friends jamming away in their garage studio and releasing to an audience. I actually think they've been on a great roll since Underground Resistence, finding a good balance between old school metal genres, BM and lo-fi. They know they'll never drop someting like Blaze in Northen Sky, so they're just having fun.

Solid, listenable.... there's a nice mood to it. It's just another Darkthrone album, but that's not such a bad thing.

There's something I really like about that artwork, not sure why

Yeah I dig the artwork!

The album cover reminds me of the one for “100 Broken Windows” by Idlewild.

This is fine but sounds empty. Third track is pretty much just the same riff repeated for 5 minutes

I really dig these last 2! Feel like I should give a full doscognrun to cover them all.

I'm honestly absolutely loving this later era of Darkthrone cause the lads honestly seem to be having all sorts of fun making music they enjoy playing. Its like two dudes just jamming out, chilling, and putting together albums if it seems right.

I love the cover too. Very much actually. The music is pretty decent. First track is the best by a margin though, the rest are kinda cliche.

You should DDD! They're worth it, even though this is like their 80,000,000,000th release by now.
Agreed Asmodeuss, one of my fave aspects about them!

Highly enjoyable record. Impeccable Caverns' final melodies are so nice. They've been on a major high over the last couple of albums.

I thought I might to this once, slap a 3.5 in it and call it a day, but I am intrigued now. Feels organic too. And the drums are audible without sounding too much like samples. Good stuff.
