I do love Daedalus.

I think the song took a bit for me to really take an interest in it. Actually, I think it took me some time to warm up to Air and Earth. Originally, Fire and Water had a much bigger impact on me, but now I think Water and Air are the stronger two.

"Looks like Beggars and M/M are considered by many to be some of their best work."

It really depends on what brand of Thrice you like best but I'd almost say that no one claims Beggars to be their best (besides Rowan), though I do love it. It's ranked 7th based solely on their Sput averages

M/M was the perfect way to end their career and I will forever be sad that it is no longer their swan song.

"Ugh I desperately need a whole album of Water. C'mon Thrice experiment some more!"

Mongi said it like a year and a half ago but I totally agree.

I think Beggars is their best in the alt/rock realm they can't seem to get out of.

Firebreather fucking slays. Prob my fav track off both, but overall I prefer water slightly.

Hell yeah brother. Firebreather, The Messenger, Last Continent, Open Water...first volume is blistering, second volume is tranquil and stunningly beautiful.

Goddamn, Thrice is awesome. Can’t believe I “discovered” them only a year or so ago. At least I discovered them at all.

Fuck yeah man. I ended up seeing them last year just a few months after I started listening. They were absolutely amazing and the setlist WAS great, but no Firebreather 🙁.
