I see all you guys have been checking this because of that Unusual Things…
Seriously though I hope some of her work doesn’t ever get ruined by over-exposure for anyone, as that Queen scenario outlined above is very much at play for me
(to be fair I probably wouldn’t love Queen regardless now, but nostalgia is a hell of a drug if left untainted, so who knows?)

What's that show about anyway? It certainly helped reignite interest for her!

I watched the first episode and thought ‘nope’, so I’m not entirely sure to be honest.

Hihihihihihihihi! I'm not that much of a series watcher at all. Feels like I'm living under a rock sometimes...

^ Indeed. Sequel series to the quite frankly boring 'Normal Things'.

people in my life wouldn't leave me alone about s4 of stranger things, even knowing how terrible i think the show is (when it came out it was one of few things i could watch with my 14 y.o brothers)... show is still absolute gutter trash. i'm surprised kate bush even went viral with the shitty marvel movie orchestral remix they did

It's actually a really great show that follows a group of kids (and parents later on) in a small town, where they discover the government was doing research nearby on paranormal activities and stuff starts getting out of control
Haven't watched the new season yet, but the first 3 were very good if you like sci fi and 80s nostalgia

"show is still absolute gutter trash."
"It's actually a really great show"
Trifolium, being perfectly honest, I firmly believe it is neither of these extremes. It is a very entertaining show aimed at a predominately younger demographic dealing in tropes of '80s horror and Speilberg-esque suspense, with a likable cast in ever-more ludicrous situations. Its aesthetic, feel and general 1980s fetishisation is a great draw (if that's the sort of thing you're into), and provides a lot of entertainment that doesn't hold up to close scrutiny.
A fun show.

I didn't think calling it a really great show was extreme, it's just highly entertaining is all. Won't change your life or anything.

Watching season 4 has me in perpetual eye roll … definitely not my idea of fun I might have a seizure soon. So many of the storylines are so bad and not in a so bad it’s good way. They also try to make the comedy funnier by yelling the jokes really loud which is like my least favorite form of comedy
Eddie Munson is pretty cool though his screen time is very limited so far. The villain is almost a 1:1 translation of Freddy Krueger (they even casted him in the show as an homage), so I’d rather just watch NOES which is so bad it’s good
