Agreed with this being better than Plans, but I don't think this touches We Have the Facts, which is about on par with Transatlanticism. Narrow Stairs I'd argue is about as good as The Photo Album, though.

Yeah this does indeed have a great icy vibe. The Photo Album is also wonderfully icy, "Blacking Out the Friction" in particular.
"Grapevine Fires" is one of the very best Death Cab songs tbh, it's just so beautiful.
