my first impression is that this album is absolutely fantastic. definitely in my top 5. seeing that the national's albums

the music is amazing but i can't get into his voice as much as i could on boxer. i know that's weird because he sounds the exact same all the time but still. album could grow on me with repeated listens too.

I've tried listening to these guys but I just can't seem to find any songs that I really like.. Have only heard songs from Boxer.

Also, this album fucking rules, one of my favourite of this year so far. Runaway, Conversation 16 and Little Faith are sooooooo good.
I'm expecting to like this album more with more viewings, but currently, i still prefer Boxer slightly, i just like its overall subtleness and bleakness...
