a tribute to jack johnson - debatable, there's not much in it

sketches of spain - nowhere near, about miles' 5th best

my favorite things - not even Coltrane's best

elegant gypsy - no contest

inner mounting flame - yeah it's m/ but not on the same level

mingus ah um - second best mingus but not as innovative

smokin at the half note - never really listened to it, weirdly enough
