A 3.5 is still damn good in my book. A lot of people tend to dole out a disproportionate amount of 4.5s for new releases on this site, so nice to have a balance from points of view like this.

I can't speak for anyone else but the "staff reviews" section basically doesn't exist to me. I look from the pinned reviews, to news, to my discussions and scroll the new user reviews before making my way to the lists. I just kind of work in a zigzag. Also, I guarantee this review will blow up once everyone has a chance to hear the album. There's really nothing to discuss at this point.

The staff usually reviews shit I don't care about/won't get around to for a while so it's just not a spot I bother looking at ever. The only reason I even noticed this had a review was because I saw a Converge review bumped and was intrigued when I noticed it was their new album.
