Ozzy is a legend on his own right and a very influential singer, but this time he was matched against best old school metal vocalist. Tough for him that best Sabbath album was released right after he left. Lucily he had some awesome solo material in 80s. That period happens to be when Dio was unmatched in his art.

For me this is some of the best Dio material ever released. It's just amazing how much emotion he is able to put in his singing. Some of those singers who just make it seem so easy even thou there are only very few can emulate any of his techniques. Even thou I like the old Sabbath Dios presence seems to have opened so many doors for Iommi and company. Finally singer is not dragging and doomy(good thing some times)so the band has a opportunity to show their talents. This Rocks.

This is badass. It will be hard for me to rank Sabbath's first 10.
