Drumming isn't too interesting, but I'm not going to discredit how fucking beautiful Dash & Blast is because of the drummer.

not being interesting isn't the problem for me. in the louder parts in dash and blast, the drum beat just seems poorly timed and overly embelished. not too big of a problem in the rest of the album though.

it isn't out of time, it's just the rhythms are poorly chosen. in the first climax in dash and blast the focus should be on the soaring guitars, but instead you have all these drums fills and rhythmic patterns that just dont fit and take away focus. should be a simple, steady drum beat. its like the drummer is trying to show off at the expense of the beauty of the song.

That works perfectly for bands like Jakob (their drummer is awesome), but I like the style that this guy has.
