I don't approve of these reviews for an album that is still a month away from release. We aren't even listening to a final product.

Douglas, I thought I was literally going insane. The song "Hazelton" off of, go figure, Hazeltons, has the exact same melody as "Holocene." I let the old grizzly bear slide on that one, because, well, he's not exactly plagarizing, is he? Perhaps he had always wanted to fill the song out with a full band, and "Holocene" is the result. I've also found an instance of this in The Tallest Man on Earth's back catalogue. On The Tallest Man on Earth EP, the song "Over The Hills" has almost the exact same melody, vocally and acoustically, as "Where Do My Bluebird Fly" off Shallow Grave. I love both versions of each song.

It works for me whenever I want to get out of my usual music listening.

btw, it says I got banned on the message boards, I can't figure out why. Never said anything provocative nor flooded =s.

Holocene seems to be getting a lot of praise. I can't listen to the intro without thinking Hazeltons. By the same guy.

I think this is much more similar to Justin Vernon stuff than people have given it credit for.

I haven't decided on this album. It's definitely good, just not sure on how good.

It isn't possible for Bon Iver to make bad music.

This is phenomenal; seriously wasn't expecting to like this this much.

My end of the year list is going to have so many albums competing for a spot in the top 10.
