Am I missing something? The lyrics are like great gouging handfuls of cliché alt rock platitudes thrown into a blender and set to purée. The musicianship is adequate but really nothing to write home about. I've listened to this album twice, now- and I still can't figure it out.

It feels like it was yesterday I sat down and listened to "Never Take Friendship Personal" which is still my favourite album by these guys. However it's been a long time since I put "Never Take Friendship Personal" away and now in my CD-player it's "Vital" which is playing and to my surprise keeps getting better and better for every time I sit down and listen.

Well, top 2 for me would be Modern Age and God, Drugs & Sex.
Beyond that, take your pick really. Kind of depends on my mood. Self-Starter and Little Tyrants are growing on me a lot.
