I will once you explain what makes this an “immature line.”
> Shoot my life in shoot-em-up style/Her favorite movies, lowkey
Just want to get you on the record confirming you have zero idea what the lyrics are about on the first track of the album you “reviewed.”

Just because you might be able to find a deeper meaning to a line doesn't mean it's not immature
The line really lacks genuine wordplay that makes it interesting and it doesn't flow very well... I mean, it's something that TOP has always had with their lyrics that have always been a gripe for me. It's wordplay but sometimes comes off as clunky or simply lazy at times.
This is an example of words just being said in succession of each other because they're similar in them (shoot-em up and favorite movies, there really isn't much there to be digested)

It’s not even about being deep you literally didn’t even read the lyrics correctly. “Low key” is part of the hook and you quoted it like it’s part of the verse…
That also isn’t even the beginning of the sentence, the lyrics in context are:
> Lost my job my wife and child. Homie just sued me. Shoot my life in shoot ‘em up style… Her favorite movies…
If you follow the melody, “Her favorite movies” is attaching back to “lost my wife / homie just sued” not “shoot ‘em up style.” The line is about remembering the movies he watched with his wife after she left him.
Again none of this is meant to be deep but your review shows you didn’t even get the basic meaning of the song.

My brother in Christ, shooting his life in shoot-em up style is literally a reference to movie genre, which he remembers his wife through, what are you talking about

With the new teaser out today I respect how this sidequest is woven into the "lore"
I've never really been a lore guy, and I like this album a good deal. But the commentary that it was supposed to be entertainment over substance is interesting. Since everyone bashed this for being a clear deviation hidden under the shroud of lore, seems like it was the plan from the getgo

I kinda wish this band didn't have lore and just did good pop songs
