So I was in the kitchen cooking and dancing around with my speakers out loud, and suddenly fuckin' fin jumps out and made me burn my poor little pinky... i gotta say, i'm impressed

Readyfuels, Godspeed and The Resistance are all awesome. WOTTO is pretty good, but NTFP is kind of a weak track. That song never really did anything for me.

I feel the same way as Kj, the chorus is my main issue.

Agreed, just the lyrics and thee melody are dumb. If you can't hold yourself together, why should I hold you now???

Godspeed is one of my favorite Anberlin songs, that one definitely takes the cake for me

Godspeed is one of my favorite tracks too, along with Paperthin Hymn. The chorus on Hymn gets me every time.

I'd count Haunting as my favorite opener (in fact, probably my favorite Anberlin song, period), except Lost Songs isn't
technically an album to me, so I'm gonna say it doesn't count.
Self-Starter > Godspeed > Resistance > Readyfuels > Never Take > We Owe This

"Self-Starter>Godspeed>NTFP>Readyfuels>WOTTO>Resistance" What is this.
Self-Starter>Resistance>Godspeed>NTFP>>ReadyFuels>WOTTO
I just realized how much I enjoy NTFP though, and how great their openers are

I still like Resistance a lot, but to me it's not quite as hard-hitting as their other openers.

Ah I see. For me it's the perfect combination of aggression and melody, which is probably why I like it so much. WOTTO is the other way around. Christian tries too hard to be aggressive which sounds bad, and the chorus has a bad melody (though the bridge is awesome)

I think the lyrics are better on Resistance but I actually like Stephen's delivery more in WOTTO and I do like the chorus even if it is repetitive.

The only track I dig so far is Self-Starter

Yeah, ttb, that's fair enough.
On a positive note, I really enjoy Someone Anyone within the context of this album now. It's a less dense, digestible, fun song that is really needed on this album. Hopefully I come around on Innocent too.
