if I only include planets that I have personal up-close experiences with, then probably urf yeah
Otherwise, Venus...
Full of really hot women and a convenient reminder of our future

I'm unsurprisingly enjoying this one too, but not as much as I'd hoped
I was expecting stratospherically mind-bending returns and what I have received thus far is impressive, yet mildly less insane than I was expecting... perhaps these expectations were false or Om already opened the same bunghole and I have no more left to unlock

Both are avant-whatever in their own right, I think this is a bit more of an acquired taste than OM, though, and I think a lot of people (subconsciously or otherwise) have a tougher time becoming invested in duos than larger ensembles, especially when it comes to jazz.
Just hypothesizing, tho.

Interesting that you think this is more of an acquired taste because of the duo thing, hmm maybe?
I like how chaotic Om is, perhaps my stupid disso-metal brain helped with the transition? This is definitely stripped back in comparison despite being 'a lot' in some regards. Is this more abstract? Idk

still a doubting thomas regarding this being considered Top-Tier 'Trane, but it is better than I remember, although some bits wander into meretricious territory. Venus and Leo (inexplicably consigned to bonus track status ???) are fucking gorgeous, wish the rest was of the same caliber

singling out venus, i guess you'd probably prefer stellar regions to this?
i dislike gorgeous music personally, so ofc i prefer interstellar space

thank you, i'll try it, although I'm still chewing on First Meditation (glorious and without question gorgeeous)! i was wary/leery of checking out a lot of his posthumous stuff but so far it is yielding happy dividends
