No band can touch this CD. I started backwards with PTW. I got You Come Before You and Tear From The Red and while I loved them, they didn't stand out insanely like some other bands. Then I got The Opposite Of December and since that day I put the CD in, I have not turned back. In my book PTW have been the most influencial in the hardcore scene in the past 10 years, maybe just for this album alone. I would put my vote on this album for top hardcore release, this has inspired me and thousands of other bands beyond words

If you do not have this in your music collection, you're doing something wrong. Get it immediately

They use the chugging guitars and the jun jun jun breakdown on this album too much.. other than that, good album...

My Mirror No Longer Reflects is my personal favorite. And the drumming in crisp and clean, that it just sounds amazing.

Joebass has a point about them being one of the most influential bands in the hardcore scene. PTW kick pretty much every other bands ass.

This cd rocks pretty hard, but I need to be in the right mood to listen to a fair amount of it tho. My Mirror No Longer Reflects, Artists Rendering..., and Slice Paper Wrists are sweeeeet.

12/23/93 is phenominal. One of if not the best Opening tracks I've ever heard. The Breakdown in the beggining is incredible.

I still love PTW. Alongside Converge and Botch, my favourite metalcore band.

This album is kickass. I wish they had stayed in this style, though "You come before you" is great, too.
Slice Paper Wrists is one of my favorite songs to this day.

I really like how they decided to start experimenting with their sound.

Versions was great if a little hard to become accustomed to.

^^ agreed. Album is amazing period. One of my most played albums, as well as being responsible for getting me into heavy music years ago.

I'm gonna review this album and be very plain and blunt about how overrated it is.

It might have to do with how the breakdowns are more boring than modern metalcore, idk. This Message Edited On 01.10.08
