its their best album other than this, followed shortly after by orchid

This is my favorite album ever; However I'll save a 5 in the (unlikely) hope that an even better album comes along. This entire album is simply fantastic, and Mikael's vocals are utterly astounding. The concept is brilliant, and only Opeth could provide the eerie sounds that truely fit it. To me, this album demonstrates the pure emotion as to why music was invented, and I cannot criticise it in any way. So nerr.
I could literally talk forever about this album; the breakdown in The Amen Corner just came on, and holy crap, that is sheer genious... Then again, what isn't in this album?

Dude if it's your favorite album ever it's ok to give it a 5 lol. I'm listening to this right now and I'm considering giving this a 5 again. This is great to listen to considering I haven't listened to this, or any Opeth at all, in a really long time.
