On par with Crack the Skye tbh. Guitar and drum-work is hnnnggg

No way, Crack the Sky is a lot better, specially the vocals
|
| |
Look up some pro-shot videos of them playing March of the Fire Ants. Bill Kelliher's vocals are too intense.

This is close but CTS and Leviathan are slightly better

Don't forget Blood Mountain
In fact all their stuff is pretty great, even The Hunter

Blood mountain is great even if there aren't really any singular amazing songs like a hearts alive or the czar

Shoo, only 2 pages for this monster....
I think this album busted my eye socket.
|
| |
it's because tha default review keeps getting changed but yea album deserves more pages. mastodon fans are gay though they never check this one and then it's always last in their ranked lists and then even more people don't check it and rank it last it's a vicious cycle. not as vicious as this album though. goes hard as fuck.

This is their third best I think. Also was the third I listened to, mostly because I fell hard for Mastodon just days after Blood Mountain was released. I would listen to this a dozen times before either of their last two. Trainwreck and Ol'e Nessie are classics.

I find it lovely.
