Awesome review. I wouldn't rate the album that low, but I definitely respect your review.

I really liked these guys for a while. That was about 2 years ago, I think. Mabye because Miss Avril "Girfriend" Lavinge *sp* brainwashed Derick!

Okay Skyler you have no idea what your talking about.
Dave only wrote guitar solos.
Deryck wrote most of the songs and now is writing pretty much everything except for bass/drums and a few songs on the album.

Another thing is, the review is crap.
The album is personal to Deryck because he actually put his heart into it.
Plus I listened to the leak of it and the album rocks.
It's like a mixture of their greatness.
I don't really like Best Of Me, but that's because it is just kind of really soft and slow.

Now I give this album a 4.5/5 because its better than most albums that I've heard.

He put his heart into it? BS. He just remade other songs by him and others.
It's not an awful CD, but it's also a very unoriginal CD.

Pretty boring, average pop-punk album. They really are missing Dave Baksh now He was the s*** on the guitar.

Check out Yellowcards Paper Walls for some decent pop-punk :P

The rating for this has been steadily rising. Maybe it's worth checking out after all.

This is why you rule the site. Brilliant length for the review it is. I enjoyed reading this. If we could vote I'd set up another account just to give you two.

Looking at the ratings on the older albums, I don't think Underclass Hero is any better or worse than the previous ones. I listened to some of the single, and it was exactly how I remembered Chuck sounding. I can stand it, but it's never going to be my favorite song. But with 15 songs and a 10 dollar price tag, I'm definitely getting it.

i really enjoyed most of this album, and was really shocked to see a 1.

'walking disaster' was one of my favourite songs, i put the closing lyrics as my msn screen name.

'underclass hero' was a great singalong pop-punk treat.

'count your last blessings' was great as well, though dangerously sounding like 'angels with dirty faces' in places, still held it's own as a cool tune.

'ma poubelle' was funny, i enjoyed hearing him in french.

'march of the dogs' sounded awesome, it definitely stayed on my myspace profile for a while.

i'd give it a 3 or 4
