Any album with Machine Gun, When The Sun Sets and Dagger on it deserves more love than I was giving it. Bumped.

First time dig of this nice daydream LP.
Deep nostalgic melodies everywhere.
Love it!
It give me a great contrast compared to the genre that i listen often with all their subgenres; metal/rock/classical/jazz.
This fill a musical void. Thats great.

@sandwich,
It sound like a slow burn but in fact, it was a quickie.
Oh well, the versatility of the human language XD.
Thats the beauty of it ;)
For me, Loveless > Souvlaki, by a small margin.

40 Days became the latest song here to reach 'love' territory.

And nice to see you dig this too!! It indeed is very nicely sentimental, nostalgic feeling in a way. Some feel it's too whiny, but to me it's perfect.

Would y'all say this is better than Loveless? This has been on my list for a while.

@Trifolium,
Agreed, really emotional, not whiny, melancholic maybe.
@R4zor,
Im a noob about this genre.
Loveless > Souvlakie, by not much

everything else matters > both !!!!

R4zor I think they're not even really comparable in a way. Loveless is warm and fuzzy and sunny and hazy; whereas this one is less fuzzy, a little cooler, with a bigger focus on vocals; to me it always had a very different vibe than Loveless.
I'd never be able to pick one over the other, love them both so much.

I'm not as plugged into the shoegaze genre as I'd like to be but I'd say this > Loveless. Slowdive's brand of melancholy just speaks to me more

Yeah, this is way more melancholic than Loveless, which is much warmer. They are not really compared all that easily, they scratch completely different itches in my opinion.
