Mine is too, really looking forward to it but I have a bit of skepticism since the departure of Annlouice their lead singer

"Drum recording for album no. 4 will start on the 16th of july at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg. Roberto Laghi who produced the last 2 albums will once again team up with DSO and we couldn't be more excited!!"

I've read somewhere that their next album would be released early in 2017

I find it quite original but there's some magic missing for me.

Infralove is infectious to the bone. Revisiting this whole album and it's still a kickass experience. I mean, Pandora's Pinata's a thing, too, but these days I love the both of 'em so much. This one sonically speaking has got a darker edge to it than the later records; not to imply their other work can't get melancholic...

Not that DSO's ever been all serious business to begin with tho. Their backstory's the proof in the puddin'.

Maybe this one just needs time but I didn't really enjoy it on first impression. The majority of the tracks seem to be focused around the opera style vox & uninteresting metal riffs (which aren't strong enough to carry these songs alone).

Pandora used these elements well without overdoing it.

Devin already did one of their gimmicks, and mildly better, with his metal chug Thirlwell songs.
