Yeah his vocals were absolutely dreadful...I actually wrote a review for that like over a year ago (when I was a different user)...Before I invented the ellipsis...

Oh if you care to hear how awful they were (for teh lulz) go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFWask6qoNw

The video is really dumb but the song is so awful its entertaining...This Message Edited On 09.10.08

Sometimes I think Chiodos is way too overreaching but I think they can generally get their point across in their songs. It takes more knowledge of the band members to make sense of many of their songs, but I'm not saying that's an excuse to be so convoluted as they are at times. I don't really like this review though. You say what sucks, but not how you think it could be improved (and that doesn't mean saying they need to throw C. Owens in a dumpster and leave him).

Eh, I don't want to say they officially SUCK because then it seems like there's no possibility of improvement. There's obviously some good musicianship that can be traced in their records.

musicianship I've heard elsewhere done better

^ Well there's no denying that fact.

I see a chance for these guys to prove themselves though.

There are 114 comments on this review! That's gotta be a sign about this band's ability to call attention. People either love them or hate them... and that's another good sign.

This would be much better if Owens had a bearable voice. Which is odd because I love both Claudio Sanchez and Cedric whatsisname as vocalists.

I like his voice on some tracks, but others could have used someone who doesn't have clamps on there nuts. This Message Edited On 02.20.09

you guys really dont like these dudes eh

i would say they're an interesting post-hardcore band, nothing exceptionally special - maybe the guys voice is good, i like him in his other band Cinematic Sunrise more. to be honest i really like Alls Well - and i was quite annoyed by Bone Palace Ballet. but whatever, to each his own
