You’re not wrong, people snapping up cassette tapes is lol.

Vinyl is different it has always had that ‘thing’ about it. Even when it was the popular format there’s just something about it.

Max and Igor played a ripping set in March 2019, which was a perfect night of nostalgia. Setlist was:

1. Beneath the Remains

2. Inner Self

3. Stronger Than Hate

4. Mass Hypnosis

5. Slaves of Pain

6. Primitive Future

7. Arise

8. Dead Embryonic Cells

9. Desperate Cry

10. Infected Voice

11. Altered State

12. Orgasmatron

13. Troops of Doom

14. Refuse/Resist

15. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

Did anyone else see this tour?

LMAO Max loves to shittalk modern Sepultura and tout Soulfly as the best thing since sliced bread, but he will fucking milk the early records for all they're worth because he knows a half-assed tour will sell more than 90% of his Soulfly records.

@David You must be trolling if you rate BtR anything below 3.0. Come on now man.

This album has aged like a corpse. Tinny production, monotonous drumming, Max sounds like he's out of breath, and any idea that sounds unique, like the swing drum intro to Sarcastic Existence, it's immediately abandoned only to return to the same inverse skank blast that is on every song. It plays it incredibly safe. When more advanced stuff like ...And Justice for All, South of Heaven, Altars of Madness, Left Hand Path, and Rust in Peace were getting released at around the same time, I have no idea why anyone would choose to listen to this over any of those albums
