This album along with The Slim Shady LP are the only rap albums I like.

And I'm not a fan of rap.

And like pulseczar said, after this album, he went downhill.

CLASSIC! But there was some songs that could'eve been better: Marshall Mathers, Drug Ballad, Under the Influence.

Kim is the underrated jewel only because no one in the media wanted to publicily express how good it was.

Boo. Eminem sucks and this album blows. Seriously this review is poor as well. You base the review on how well the sales were. Why not just say that Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish was a 5 star hit too just because it sold 2 million copies in the first week. I wouldn't really compare this with OK Computer as they are completely different genres.

Actually this one of the tighetest rap albums I've ever heard, though I havent heard much. In an age where album sales are an afterthought to hot singles, this still flows nicely. This Message Edited On 09.12.07

You HAVE to go downhill after making this album. It's not possible to go any further uphill.

Very well written, no matter how annoying he and his music may have become, this *was* 2000, and it's damn good. Eminem did his part in helping to make hip hop (as well as modern music) a bit less shitty.

Then he lost it...

Whatever.

I just picked this up yesterday. Does anyone know if the story of Stan is true?

this album still does it for me even after eight years.

great as it is though the big highlight is "kim" by far.

i remember when this song came on,me and my cousin are driving at night, backwoods road with that song pumped to 10.

it's fucking emotional, angry, disturbing and probably the most raw thing i have ever heard.
