i know, it's sort of weird how some of the songs are like that. i guess it's just because black metal and shoegaze share some similar qualities.

yeah, that and sort of the "implied" percussion? like how "lose my breath"'s chorus sounds like it has some subtle double bass pedal action fading in and out
