Worm's vocals in Crown of Thorns are really off-time. The drumming makes up for it tenfold though.

It happens. I had the same reaction when I heard Slit Your Guts.
The music is genius through the whole freakin' album, it's just the vocals that have a little slack everynow and then, like Crown of Horns.
Also, I love the little samples at the beginning and end of the album.

I am not fully against the original style of growling, but Lord Worm can't growl at all, unless you consider burbing every word a growl.

I find it funny that before Once Was Not, everyone thought that Lord Worm was a god. Now, people reckon even his None So Vile stuff is pretty crappy.
Lord Worm on the first two albums is awesome. That is all.

Br3ad, I always thought he was good, but pretty damn bad on OWN. I hate the way he barks on Crown of Horns but other then that he kicked ass on their first two albums. Opinions fluctuate, I guess.
