I've pretty much been playing the first half of this album nonstop. Once I get tired of that, I'll see if the second half grows on me.

yeah this just isn't clicking with me. i LOVE Transatlanticism and Plans is pretty good too, but there's something about this album.

I think it's a sweet album, about even with Plans (I have Plans ranked after Transatlanticism in their best albums.) The single is really good, although I think they only chose it because it sounds so much like their new sound. Cath..., Grapevine Fires, Bixby Canyon Bridge, and Pity and Fear are the best songs on this album.

was never really sold on the whole death cab thing but the new single is one of the better things that's frequenting the radio right now.

^ which isn't really saying much, as some of the most popular songs on the rock alternative station in my town include Nickelback, Theory Of A Deadman, 3 Doors Down, and Creed.

Good review, I found the album different from other DCFC albums. It sounded like they were just experimenting with different sounds.

From what I've heard of this, it's pretty good. the long ass intro into I Will Possess Your Heart is kind of meaningless though.

Albums pretty tight, seems like 'Plans'

some amazing songs, a few good ones but mostly it sounds the same, 'I Will Possess Your Heart' is absolutely immense though.

Great review
