Pretentious douchebag. Trying to feel special by faking a disgust for a culture that gives you a desire to be special in the first place, is simply put, pathetic.

Is there really a point in comparing the Beatles to classical music? I like both, but for entirely different reasons. On top of that, it's hard to imagine any modern songwriters creating music as complex & epic as the geniuses you referred to. This method of reasoning doesn't really support the rating, nor does it excuse crediting the Beatles for the decline of civilization. On the contrary, Revolver elevated popular music to new horizons of creativity & is, in my opinion, the most significant piece of modern music in history.

This review is so ridiculous... and I love how this guy used Bach as one of his biggest defense mechanisms for his

opinion. What I believe is that, while Bach was innovative for his time, future musical generations have evolved past his

scoring. While some of his pieces are still timeless, many of them feel dated in retrospect. The modulations and overall

progressions, while still used to a high degree today, didn't have as much flair and just weren't as interesting when

looking back on his work. The contrapuntal melodies he utilized were also expanded upon in later years in more

interesting ways. Then again, it can't be denied how much groundwork he laid for future composers. I still don't think

this guy really understood some of this when writing his review though, so whatever.

I can completely understand thinking The Beatles are overrated, but a 1 is just completely ridiculous.

This is some bullshit. Flyhead got his Mushroomhead review deleted because he gave it a high rating. I mean it’s a Flyhead review and all but nonetheless.

I'm banned now, right.
