I dunno, Themata has great songs, REALLY great songs. But New Normal is a more cohesive and complete CD for mine.

It's starts well and has its moments but wasn't consistent enough all the way through for me to play the whole thing very often.
I quite liked No Other Way although I can see what you mean about being dragged out...

love this album, i dont think its conventional in general but its safer compared to the old one, im usually not a fan of long songs i think tool have ruined many songs by making them 10+ mins but i deffinantly dont get bored in no other way..cog seem to drag songs on and still make them interesting Imo e.g the spine(the new normal), bitter pills

i've never seen them tbh because i never really loved the new normal. but i'll have to catch them next time for sure

...I'm gonna get shouted at for this, but I was really unimpressed by this album. The lyrics in particular tick me off, but the music bored me too. New Normal was MUCH better.

lol i reckon its on par with the new normal.
theyre both awesome for different reasons.
also there seems to be a lot of hate for swamp, i reckon its one of the better tracks on the album.
what do we think of the remix?

yeah it's pretty cool. he's got a great voice for that style of music actually. there's talk of a possible cog/presets collaboration in future apparently

yeah agree totally about Flynns voice, and if u didnt read what i posted in the TBE review yesterday, apparently TBE and the Resin Dogs might collaborate. Apparently a guy from the Resin Dogs has already done a remix of Aisles of White which is going to be released in the near future.
Should be interesting.

Giving this another shot...they take themselves waaaay too seriously. Although the music DOES capture the tension found immediately after the terrorist attacks etc...unfortunately that was a while ago and the album dates.
