This is by far my favorite EP by any band ever. Its a fucking shame no band will ever make music like this ever again....=/.

spoonermcgee, i agree partly. although i hope some more bands can create epic music like this in the future, the end of an era is just flawless. it shows more emotion than any other song that i've heard. it's perfect.

u guys know ryan parrish did the cleans on this right? and wrote most of the music on this? thats why everything post TSY sounds different.

Very tempted to give this a 4.5, it is phenomenal emotional hardcore.
I think TSY is better, but that's mainly due to the extra length.
End of an Era is just...wow.

actually sounding like misery signals' Of Malice and the Magnum Heart but with less breaks and more (bad) cleans.
despite of them, great EP. rly great. even now, nine years later. hilarious =)
will digg this band.

the only problem with that is that this preempts Of Malice and the Magnum Heart by a couple years and Misery Signals are boring.

absolutely awesome album. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Charlotte when they were around and got to see them live a lot. The End of An Era is still one of my favorite songs ever.

I wish this were a full length...I'm thinking it would be even better than The Satellite Years with a few more tracks.
Open Hands to the Wind and The end of An Era are perfect.
