I'm well aware that you are entitled to your opinion, however...
November Rain is quite possibly their most overrated song (most boring first half of a song I've ever heard) alongside Sweet Child O Mine.

I disagree.
I used to think the same of November Rain, but if you really listen to the lyrics and can relate to them the song is really moving.

November Rain is badass but its not their best song by any means. And yes I have listened to the lyrics and can at least try to relate to them but it only really gets good for me when the second guitar solo starts.
I also left out one very important thing that proves that the old GnR was better than Velvet Revolver- up until after the Use Your Illusions, GnR had Izzy Stradlin. He wrote some of their best songs and his absence for me is what makes Chinese Democracy not quite as good as,say, Appetite or Use Your Illusion II.

This really is quite bad; even by Guns N Roses standards. However; I will hand it to them for their consistency in choosing irrationally silly album covers.

Chinese bicycle + title Chinese Democracy= album's got something to do with China. I guess that was the mindset.

^ If The World, Scraped, IRS and This I Love are awful songs. Everything else ranges from good to superb.

^ Most songs, not all. Personally I think this is their second-best album behind Appetite, but they'll never top that.

proof the ginger midget can put out genuinely great rock music without the blonde giant and the black guy.
I love that sentence.

Personally I think this is their second-best album behind Appetite, but they'll never top that.
The Use Your Illusion albums are better than this.

The Use Your Illusion albums are better than this.

Oh I see it now, a supposed 30-song 'Magnum Opus' in which about 40% was filler, with only about four or five truly excellent songs that I still listen to at most between the two of them. Roughly half of this one album has awesome replay value, with only two truly horrendous songs being IRS and Scraped, but I'd even take them over the UYI filler tracks any day. This Message Edited On 01.30.09

dont even know if i want to hear this, considering I love my trashy GNR, I even love the better of Use Your Illusion 1&2 . I just don't see how this will be relevant in modern times. Or why he couldn't just call the band something else. Pretty much fuck Axl.
