I feel like the t/t is written as a truthful and undying proclamation of love for another person, but the delivery and soundscape make it feel almost as if it were produced after the relationship was over. There's still that perpetual love and yet it's over for them. The memories he describes seem love-lorn and distant, and yet there's still this deep yearning and admiration in his voice. The guitar sounds almost like a projection flicker of a memory that's slowly fading away. He misses her, and he's in so much pain, but he cherishes those memories and is glad he was able to have them with her. He aches for the loss of her and the future family they might've had, but in the end, he'd do it all again just to be with her. She was worth the pain.
Oh, the other songs are good too.

Yeah Babys is lame. Shame t/t and Beach Baby are two of his best songs...
Giving Woods a few more listens I find it to be polarising, but definitely fits a certain mood he was going for. He must have really liked it too considering the following two entire albums dedicated to that style lol
