Thank you for bringing this to my attention Electric. As you mentioned in the whole process of your review about the man behind the album; his statement and general opinion on the house scene is into this album all the way through. I feel like it doesn't get in the way (at all) and although its not always apparent really enhances some of it. The minimalistic beats everywhere is really fun to dive into and essentially smoother then most I've heard in the genre. I definitely prefer this over Daft Punk (which in many ways I think are overrated). Maybe its because I'm not always into the hype, energetic style they bring to the table and sometimes just want to bask in the calm waters of this album or ambient/minimalistic genres for that matter. Thanks again, album attaches itself after only the first few tracks.
