I'm sorry to say this is an atrocious review. It is much more of an attack on the band, compared to actually reviewing the music.
I'll admit as a fan of the band, they do have better albums (especially Broke). I'm also a fan of the reviewer, some of his other reviews have been quite insightful.
However, this review is incredibly narrow minded. I don't understand why the reviewer bothered to write this. He is obviously not a fan of the band or even the genre.

Yeah I know, but I like irony when I'm giving bands flak. I don't like sugarcoating it. I call tulips tulips, you know...Also, the lyrics had to be mentioned, they are that bad.

Third, I could have regarded this as good for the genre even if it wasn't to my listening tastes, but this isn't remotely close to good at all.

Yeah they are rap metal, and Limp Bizkit are better than them.

First, they were never rap-metal. They are, and have always been PUNK ROCK. Pure and simple.
Secondly, does Limp Bizkit even exist anymore? I mean, as a band? I thought Fred Durst was working at a fucking McDonald's by now, flipping burgers? Meanwhile, Hed PE are out there, playing with punk rock bands, on a punk label, getting much acclaim from the underground, while the only member of Limp Bizkit that was even remotely successful was that dumbass guitarist.
And don't try to tell me that Wes Borland is a good or even decent guitarist. Borland is one of the worst guitarists I've ever heard. His riffs are incredibly simplistic, and worse, his solo projects rip-off Ween and Nine Inch Nails.
And good God, Fred Durst is a horrible rapper. Fred is a white guy who thinks he's back, and he sounds like a five year old literally just got up on the mic and started rapping. Seriously, listen to that cheeseball "Nookie" tune once more. When he's talking about "I came into this world as a reject", he sounds like HE JUST CAME INTO THIS WORLD. LITERALLY!
Limp Bizkit are the worst thing to happen to music. Ever.
Hed PE, meanwhile, are modern punk legends. Anyone who calls this metal should have their ears examined. You know what metal is? Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer. Hed PE will occasionally throw in a little metal influence, but just because they were influenced by hip hop, you will label them rap-metal? Get your hearing examined. This band should never be called metal, ever. They are a punk rock band. A GREAT punk rock band.
